Courage to compose

I believe that music is a universal language open to everyone. But to be able to fully understand it, you need to rely on your intuition. This is not so easy. A person who knows music theory and can write competent musical texts does not automatically become a composer. If a writer has nothing to say, he will not write a good book. If a musician is not ready to share his innermost thoughts and emotions with the listener, he will not create a good piece of music.
For me, composing is not just a tribute to professionalism. In each of my compositions, I relive the most personal moments of my life together with the listener, discovering myself anew each time.
I compose both completely new pieces of my own and arrange well-known compositions. I perceive my individual interpretation of other composers' works as a process of creating something new of my own. None of my transcriptions are an attempt to “improve” what already exists. They are my intimate conversation with the author and a natural reflection of that communication. This is the magic and power of music: еvery composer whose compositions I have arranged, automatically becomes my friend.
