About Me
I am a musician. I was born one, have been one my whole life, and will be one until the end. Of course, a biography is always important as a concrete outline of personal development. But the only truly essential thing I can say about myself is that I am, first and foremost, a musician.
I was born and raised in Madrid, in a large and loving musical family. My mother told me, that as a child I would calm myself down by singing a melody that only I could hear. Music has always been inside me, for as long as I can remember.
Piano, as an instrument for expressing my feelings and emotions, became my partner and my friend from an early age. Any happy or difficult situations in my life always found expression in communication with the piano. It was of course clear to me very early on, that music would become my profession. I followed the classical path of a professional musician, from music school to a master's degree. I gave lots of concerts. I participated in and won numerous music competitions. I spent many hours teaching. However, I cannot say that my long journey to mastering the profession helped me to express myself through music in the best possible way. I am convinced that only a deeply individual use of musical language, not conforming to classical stereotypes and familiar patterns, can give true freedom. This path requires real courage and dedication. Independent of generally accepted standards, I always strive to protect and express my own individuality in every moment of my contact with music. And only such moments make me truly happy.
